Staff

Interim Pastor Rev. Celeste Lasich arrived in August of 2025, following the retirement of Rev. Ralph Clingan after his 20 years of faithful service. She assumed the duties of Head of Staff, continuing the rhythms and patterns of worship while supporting the Session through early staff transitions and addressing needed technology and communication system updates. She led the Mission Study process as a series of guided small group exercises to clarify Good Shepherd’s guiding vision and values. She continues to lead the congregation as Good Shepherd prepares for the pastor who God is even now making ready for this blessed ministry.

The next Pastor as Head of Staff will direct and collaborate with staff and volunteers and serve as the guiding leadership for the congregation. Good Shepherd’s Pastor will be a spiritual guide and teacher, oversee church administration, provide pastoral care in cooperation with Deacons and Stephen Ministers, and be the public face of Good Shepherd in Interfaith and Ecumenical activities. Music: choirs, bells, organ and instruments, are a particular passion for Good Shepherd so the next pastor should delight in ministries of music.

In addition to our interim pastor, paid staff include part-time Music Director Bradin Wilhelmsen; part-time Organist/Pianist Aaron Lund, and part-time Administrative Assistant Aubrey Amsden.

Elders
The balance of church leadership are volunteers from the congregation. This includes eight Elders who meet following worship once a month. They have the following areas of responsibility:

For Deacon responsibility, we divide the area we serve into nine Parishes with a Deacon assigned to their “home” Parish. The Deacons are a point of contact for members in their Parish. They are in contact with their members, provide care when needed, and keep the Pastor informed as needed.
