During the last week each year, after all local mission expenses have been paid and all donations have been accounted for, the remaining money in the local mission budget is divided among a number of local charities.
Generally, we try to make the donations equal. Past recipients include: The DOVE Center, Habitat for Humanity of SW Utah, Doctors Volunteer Clinic of St. George, the Washington County School District Foundation, and The Children/Hunger Neighborhood Connection.
Financial Support
We provide $1,500 to general churchwide mission programs through a payment to the Presbytery of Utah.
We donate $1,000 to YMCA Moldova to support their programs for Ukrainian refugees.
We donate $1,000 to Friends of Moldova to support their programs for Ukrainian refugees.
We support the programs of Chinle Planting Hope to provide support to members of the Navajo
Nation.
